The Luxury Mountain View Lodge accommodation is a further refinement of the Cedar Lodge design, with the same airy spaciousness, floor-to-ceiling windows, private deck with endless solar-heated pool and premium-quality appliances.
Expansive private views: As they are located higher in the valley than our other accommodation, these Lodges also feature breathtaking aspects to the surrounding landscape, magically combining lofty mountain ridges with tropical valleys of genuine old-growth rainforest and stoic trees that are centuries old. The private decks on these Lodges incorporate solar heated plunge pools which feature wet edges on three sides and a nice stainless steel roasting BBQ.
The ultimate in rainforest luxury: Including the deck, the floor space of this architect-designed open plan is over 150 square metres. A cosy, romantic double-sided fireplace screens the bedroom from the generous living area, with a big clear skylight (with block-out blind) above the bed for stargazing. Reverse-cycle air conditioning keeps you comfortable all year round. A walk-in wardrobe provides generous space for suitcases and the like. In the bathroom, floor-to-ceiling windows integrate the stunning beauty of the rainforest with the indulgence of the luxury double solid marble bath. Recycled French oak floorboards add a glamorous patina throughout.
The Lodges are also the next step up in sustainable accommodation. Combining classic design with modern energy efficiency technology. In addition to standard insulation in walls and ceiling, the Lodges also employ new innovations such as 'Comfort Plus' glass in its floor-to-ceiling windows. With its insulating properties far superior to standard glass, the Lodge successfully keeps the heat in during winter and keeps it out in summer. The plunge pool is solar heated and as long as there is some sun it will be warm for all but the four coldest months of the year, when environmental responsibility takes precedence over heating an outdoor pool in winter. Of course in the winter months you can indulge in the double-sided fire inside. There are many invisible – but very tangible – additions that will make your stay extremely comfortable while being respectful to our environment.

We have two Luxury Mountain View Lodges, called Springbrook Lodge (for its view of Mount Springbrook) and Numinbah Lodge. Each accommodates one couple only.
