We stayed in one of the Creek Side Spa Cabins on our honeymoon and it was
absolutely amazing! The location is stunning with gorgeous rainforest views
and the cabin was spacious and very well set out. We couldn't believe the
attention to detail when we arrived. Drawers were stocked with Panadol, insect
repellent, a torch, candles etc ... The handmade soaps were fantastic and the
spa was amazing! Our cabin even had a 50 inch TV and a home theatre setup.
We ordered several meals and picnic lunches and they were all amazing, very
generous servings (more than we could eat) and absolutely delicious! The
orchard and creek are both beautiful and such relaxing and peaceful places.
Overall, we would strongly recommend Crystal Creek to any couple, it is an
absolutely stunning place, perfect in fact.

We would just like to commend you on such a well thought out place. We have stayed all over the world and what you have here is truly amazing. We would also like to add how lovely your staff have been, from booking to reception to cleaning staff. I think you need to list more of the features on your website, there were so many additional features that were a delight and a surprise i.e. the skylight so you can see the stars in bed.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary staying in the Cedar Lodge at Crystal
Creek Rainforest Retreat. Everything was perfect! Our private heated plunge
pool was the best place to start and end our days – we loved it. The
seclusion of this lodge made it feel like we were the only people on the
property. It is tucked away off the main entry point of the retreat and
surrounded by lush plant life. The view from the deck is breathtaking with
Springbrook Mountain framed by palm trees. The birdlife was an added treat
and we made good use of the binoculars that were provided. Our nightly log
fire created a wonderful warm atmosphere. Meals were great – more than
enough food. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave us lots of good
tips about where to go on our travels through the hinterland. Every day
since we got back we've thought about our time there and wished for our own
private plunge pool. We can't recommend it highly enough. It is truly worth
the expense for such a unique and relaxing experience.

It's actually taking a lot out of me not to be hysterical when I write this review. I am completely in love with this place. Something about
staying here has forever changed the way I look at the world and what I view
as real and important. When I was younger I thought life was about dating
hardcore gangster party guys who thought going to a club was the greatest
thing you could do in life. They had no clue about the world, life or real
issues. Then I was BLESSED to meet someone who was completely removed from
that ideal and who on his own booked a 2 night (which then turned into a 3
night stay) at Crystal Creek and it blew me away.
This place is amazing. AmaDOIDJFWg. I can't type... AMAZING. I spent a few
nights on Hamilton Island earlier this year and although the Great Barrier
Reef is nothing to scoff at this by far has smacked me in the head in terms
of perfect.

I have been fortunate enough to travel to some of the most amazing places
and visit some of the greatest towns, cities and countries all over the
world but this by far is and will be the greatest place I have EVER, EVER,
EVER visited. Better than New York and better than my trip to the Great
Barrier Reef. We are so incredibly lucky and blessed to have seen another
part of this great country. You have done so well. I want to write more but
words fail me. I feel so sorry for those people who will never see
this.

I just wanted to pass on a big thank you for fantastic weekend at your
retreat. We had an amazing time, and I honestly haven't felt that
relaxed in years! The gourmet hampers were a delicious addition and the
facilities were top class. The hiking tracks were a great workout, and the
hammocks were a real treat! There is certainly a great vibe around the
retreat! We really enjoyed ourselves and we will definitely be returning

We had a wonderful experience staying at your resort last weekend. Your
incredible location combined with the very thoughtful siting and
architecture of your bungalows provides a very private, luxurious and yet

Hi everyone at Crystal Creek!
I just wanted to send an email to express our thanks to you for making our honeymoon unforgettable. We had such a perfect time staying in Cedar Lodge
and it was extremely difficult to leave. Coming back home and going back to
work was very difficult - and we blame you. All because you have created such
a perfect getaway haha!
All the staff were more than welcoming and they were very friendly. The
food was so yummy and we loved the fact we got to cook the hampers on our
own BBQ at a time that was convenient for us. It meant lots of lazy morning
breakfasts and nice relaxing dinners. The picnic hamper we had was great
also – we really enjoyed sitting in the orchard soaking in the late
afternoon sun before it disappeared behind the mountains.
We aren't very good at creating romantic moments ourselves, but it seemed
that everything we did at Crystal Creek was romantic because of the effort
that you have put into making everything so lovely. The scenery, the lodge,
the peace and quiet all contributed to the most romantic time we have ever
spent together.
We will definitely return and are already thinking we should come back for
our 1st anniversary. But how can we wait one whole year!?
Hoping to see you again in the near future.

After not having much luck over the last couple of years, I
organised for my partner & I to go away from Sydney & elope to a small
piece of paradise & boy did we find it! We stayed in the new Mountain view
Numinbah Lodge & we were in absolute bliss. Everything was beautifully
presented & so very tranquil. Have you ever heard rainforest music
playing? We got to experience the sweet & relaxing tunes of the rainforest
& it was so soothing. Crystal Creek was above & beyond our expectations& I would highly recommend everyone & anyone to go & stay here! Swim in the
waterfalls & take a stroll at night, I won't give any secrets away
because you need to experience first hand, you won't be disappointed.

If you want THE most romantic, relaxing (or not) retreat for two, you can't
(you shouldn't) go past Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat.
We stayed in the Mountainview Lodge, built in June 2011. The whole front of
the building (and it's the size of a not-so-small house) is floor-to-ceiling
glass and looks out on to the rainforest and the escarpment.
Plunge into your own plunge pool, clothes optional because no other lodge
can see you or have a (shallow) swim in Crystal Creek itself, between
swinging on one of the hammocks strung over the water. Or take an easier
short or more strenuous longer hike.
With our package, all the meals (except one, which we ordered separately)
are delivered 90% prepared to the lodge, and you finish them off when you
like – on the barbecue outside or in the modern kitchen. Then you can eat
when and where you like: out on the deck, or inside by the light of 24
candles after having taken a bath together, sipping wine, in the over-size
freestanding tub by that same candlelight... and perhaps with a fire in the
stove, even in the summer.
Watch a video on the flat screen tv, and so to bed under all the "LOVE" paintings on the wall, with all the candles still flickering.
Amazing service: for example, we'd forgotten to bring moisturiser so a
staffer picked up a jar of organic MooGoo for us in nearby Murwillumbah.
We've travelled widely, often staying at high-end hotels and resorts around
the world. Truly, it doesn't get any better than this.

It is only with the greatest sense of civic duty that I review this place,
and honestly I have no interest in making it even harder to get a booking.
My partner and I have stayed in around a dozen rainforest properties in the
last decade, and this is simply our favourite. This was our second stay,
this time in Cedar Lodge. It has all the ingredients for paradise: gorgeous
foliage, viewable through sheer glass surrounds; beautifully designed living
area – I love the integration of space, with separate spaces but no doorways
creating a sense of unity and space (and airflow in the humidity!); various
lounging places inside and out; and service for what you need. It's a
walkers haven – not only does the property provide several good walks; but
you are surrounded by national parks with a variety of vegetation and
tracks. The supplied meals are large enough to go for a couple of days on,
and use local organic produce – hard to source otherwise in a short trip.
Only real downside is the chlorination in the pool, which is a shock after
natural swimming in the creek!
Oh, and the bed is one of the best I've slept on.
